Grab the Kleenex and watch this tribute to my sweet baby.
Our son Maxton was diagnosed with left-sided congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) at his 19 week ultrasound. Maxton was born on 3/3/09 at Vanderbilt University. He fought hard for 18 days but earned his wings on 3/21/09. Maxton was an inspiration to many during his brief time on earth and has forever changed our lives. If your child is diagnosed with CDH, please feel free to contact us. Maxton may no longer live here on earth, but he will live forever in our hearts...

I didn't need the Kleenex until I saw the pictures of you holding him! You put together a really nice tribute to him and the song fit perfectly. I'm still thinking about you and your family all the time!
Absolutely beautiful. This definitely tugs at your heart strings, and I'm busily trying to dry my tears here at work. Your love for baby Maxton just shines through all of those pictures. He's a much loved sweet baby. Here on earth and up in heaven. Would you mind if we posted that on our blog?

Maxton made a huge impact on me, even though we are strangers. I am inspired by Maxton strength. I am inspired by your love for him. I am a better person having read your journey. May God continue to give you strength.

Ashley-
Max is truly lucky to have you as his Mommy. What a wonderful tribute to a little boy that changed my world. I will never forget what you have sacraficed, and together we will ensure that none of these babies that fought so hard died in vain. We will bring more awareness to CDH, and change the outcomes of the families and babies that come after ours. That is why we were chosen for these "gifts from God".
I just love you and value your support and friendship...
Poignant and beautiful. Thank you.
I am drying my tears and praying for you often. You did a great job on the video of your baby boy. He is luck to have you as his mommy.

Ashley, this broke my heart and made me cry and it was compounded even more so because you are all family! The love you all showed him; you, David, Uncle Johnny and Aunt Rhonda, as well as the other set of grandparents is evident in every single picture, along with the heartache of each of you. He was such a beautiful baby! My heart truly is breaking for you! However, I can see how strong you are and for that I am so thrilled! You guy's will make it fine and one day will have another precious baby that will stay on this earth with you! You did a wonderful job with this video and you should be proud for sharing this with everyone. I hope the cherub I sent will always be a reminder of your beautiful Max! My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you all!
Love, Kristi
Ashley & David,
There hasn't been a day go by that I haven't thought about each of you and little Maxton. Thank you for sharing your video tribute. I wish I could have been at Maxton's service, but I was flying to Louisiana for work. I'll continue to keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Take care,Patrick
I am in tears watching your video. Maxton will never be forgotten.
Thanks for the kleenex warning! Sometimes I feel like I should cry or want to but can't, so it is kind of a nice release in a weird way when I do. He looks so cute and peaceful at the funeral, those are my favorite pics.
Love you!
~Lisa
Your slide show is beautiful. I pray and pray, but I don't think I will ever truly understand.
